Geoscience ANALYST Pro Fundamentals | June 10-11, 2026
Build a strong foundation in geophysical data analysis and interpretation with the Geoscience ANALYST Pro Fundamentals course. This training covers essential workflows, including data import and management, visualization of multi-parameter datasets, and the integration of geoscience data in 2D and 3D environments. Participants will gain hands-on experience with core tools for processing, modelling, and interpreting geophysical data, enabling them to extract meaningful insights and support more informed exploration decisions.
Course Content
DAY 1:
Build a strong foundation by building a basemap, integrating surface datasets and introducing subsurface context in a unified visual environment. Participants will:
- Set up a base map using topography, imagery, and GIS layers
- Import and validate geochemical and structural datasets
- Use visualization, filtering, and classification to highlight key patterns
- Integrate and grid geophysical data
- Introduce and visually validate drillhole and geological model data in 3D
By the end of day 1, participants will understand how to prepare, visualize, and inspect integrated datasets.
DAY 2:
Build on the visual foundation to measure relationships between datasets and support exploration decisions. Participants will:
- Compare geochemical, geophysical, and geological data using cross plots and statistical tools
- Use distance-based analysis to evaluate spatial relationships
- Transfer and integrate data across surfaces, drillholes, and block models
- Interpolate drillholes data to build continuous subsurface models
- Combine multiple data layers to highlight areas of interest for further investigation
By the end of day 2, participants will be able to construct, visualize, and compare quantitative relationships between the datasets prepared during day 1.
