Geoscience ANALYST Pro Geology is an important tool set for geologists, providing a growing range of standard and advanced interpretation methods that build on the power of Geoscience ANALYST Pro.

Features fall into two categories:

1. The first are classical methods of 2D cross-section interpretation and explicit geological modelling. Although they have been around for decades, these methods sustain their value by grounding the geologist, rather than ‘the algorithm’, as central to interpretation.

2. The second category of features is advanced open-source methods that build on the basics. These features provide user-friendly, technically supported access to open-source R&D successes, from 3D implicit modelling to AI applications such as text analysis, unsupervised classification, and supervised machine learning for exploration targeting.

Your subscription grants membership to the Geoscience ANALYST Pro Geology Consortium, which includes software updates, technical support, workshops, and invitations to an annual technology meeting. Geological modelling

Geoscience ANALYST Pro Geology offers cross-section interpretation and visualization tools designed to support efficient geological modelling workflows.
It includes intuitive meshing features to connect interpretation strings and markers, and provides integration with GemPy, an open-source tool for implicit modelling. Ongoing development is expanding both implicit and explicit modelling capabilities.

Targeting

Geoscience ANALYST Pro Geology provides an advanced targeting analysis environment that integrates exploratory data analysis, statistical tools, machine learning, and validation.
It enables the identification of probable mineralization or ore deposit zones by analyzing multi-disciplinary data and model overlays in 2D and 3D.

Exploratory data analysis and interpolation

Geoscience ANALYST Pro Geology includes a suite of tools for both quantitative and visual exploratory data analysis. Key capabilities include radial basis function (RBF) interpolation, principal component analysis (PCA), neural kriging interpolation, DBSCAN clustering, and centred log-ratio (CLR) transformation.

Text analysis

Geoscience ANALYST Pro Geology includes AI-powered text analysis tools that support interpretation of text data attributed to objects and documents.
Offering access to various Large Language Models from different providers, it generates summaries from model objects containing text. It also features a drillhole re-logger for legend normalization, using large language model processing to interpret text in lithology, alteration, and comment fields.

Automated domaining

Geoscience ANALYST Pro Geology enables automated creation of 'pseudo-geological' domains by analyzing multiple overlaid property fields. These domains—spatially segmented areas sharing common multi-disciplinary signatures—support more informed interpretation.
