Senior Consultant Geological Modelling

We have an opportunity for a Senior Consultant Geological Modelling to join our global consulting team working from Canada.  In this role you will provide consulting services to our existing customers,  help us to bring new and innovative solutions to the market and to expand our existing solutions.

What will your core responsibilities be?

  • Construction of 3D Earth Models for 3D exploration activities and geologically constrained geophysical inversion models
  • Geological modelling construction and coding of custom scripts using GOCAD Mining Suite and SKUA-GOCAD
  • Project management
  • Software implementation
  • Sourcing, analysing and editing geological and geophysical data
  • Working on a wide variety of customer projects, and developing and managing positive relationships
  • Communication of modelling results with clients
  • Building new relationships and developing new business

What qualifications will you need?

To fill this role you will have your P.Geo. designation and experience with 3D modelling applications, project workflows from data import, QAQC, EDA to model building. Extensive knowledge of mineral deposit systems is required, as well as an understanding of physical rock properties and geophysical interpretation. Familiarity with downhole wireline data and understanding of geostatistics and database management would be assets.  Strong English language skills are important. Spanish and French would be great assets. Eligibility to work in Canada is a requirement.

DevSecOps Specialist

We are currently searching for an experienced DevSecOps to join our software team in Montreal. As a DevSecOps Specialist, you will be responsible for integrating security best practices into the development, deployment, and operational processes of our geoscience software solutions. Your primary objective will be to ensure the security, compliance, and resilience of our software systems throughout their lifecycle.

Day-to-day tasks will include: 

  • Implement and maintain security controls in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and application deployment
  • Maintain and develop CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Github, Azure)
  • Collaborate with development and IT teams to embed security at every stage of the software lifecycle
  • Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats in cloud and on-prem environments
  • Implement and maintain new Cloud architecture for HPC
  • Architecture systems to meet service level agreements (high availability)
  • Deploy Docker containers for production
  • Provide guidance and training to development teams on secure coding, observability, and DevSecOps best practices
  • Take a lead role in the implementation and maintenance of ISO 27001 certification

Qualifications needed:

  • At least five (5) years direct experience in DevOps and Cybersecurity
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud security (especially with Azure), container security (Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
  • Experience with security tools and technologies
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and security best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team
  • BSc in software engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, information technology or equivalent qualification
  • Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus but not a requirement
  • Strong English language skills are a necessity, French, Spanish or other languages would be an asset

Marketing and Sales Coordinator

We are growing our Marketing and Sales team and are looking for a dynamic full-time Marketing and Sales Coordinator to help us reach new customers and grow into new markets.  Working with a great team of people, you will contribute to our brand and marketing strategies and to the achievement of sales targets by organizing and managing the scope of sales administration.

Upon joining our team you can expect that your days will  be diverse and that you will have frequent interaction with your colleagues to plan, organize and execute marketing and sales related tasks. Some of the things you will find yourself doing include:

  • Assisting in the creation of a wide scope of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations and whitepapers as well as assisting in the development and management of our digital marketing initiatives and social media platforms
  • Event and logistic coordination for Mining & Exploration conferences, trade shows and other industry events
  • Maximizing the benefits of our CRM by populating customer and lead information, consolidating communication channels, producing reports and analytics, and tracking the sales pipeline.
  • Managing customer requests and inquires received through our sales email; triage and distribute these to the sales team ensuring timely responses
  • Coordinating team members and internal stakeholders to move leads forward and track milestones
  • Taking ownership of the scope of sales administration supporting the sales team
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure sales processes are followed
  • Participating in weekly sales and marketing team planning meeting

To fill this role you will need proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software – MS Dynamics or similar, 3 to 5 years of experience in a marketing and sales coordination role and strong English language skills.  You must be highly organized and detail oriented. Spanish and French language skills would be great assets as would experience in earth sciences.
