Mira Geoscience and Tessael have announced a new collaboration to expand the modelling capabilities within Geoscience ANALYST Pro Geology
Westmount, QC – March 10, 2026
Tessael is a French geoscience technology startup founded in 2020 on a mission to scale carbon capture and storage (CCS) and geothermal energy. It specializes in advanced subsurface modelling, meshing, and simulation software. Originating from research at Inria (France’s National Institute for Digital Science and Technology), Tessael’s GeO₂ technology enables high-accuracy 3D representations of complex geological structures.
Through this partnership, Tessael is helping enhance Geoscience ANALYST Pro Geology with tools that make interpreting complex geology faster and easier, while improving data integration and workflow efficiency. The collaboration is focusing on key capabilities such as surface reconstruction from point clouds, surface cleaning and repair, surface cutting, and remeshing — delivering practical, high-impact features for mineral exploration and mining, which will roll out over the next few release cycles.
”We are excited to be working with Tessael to expand what is possible within Geoscience ANALYST Pro Geology. Their technical expertise and collaborative approach are helping us accelerate the development of tools that meet the evolving needs of our users.
—John McGaughey, President at Mira Geoscience
”Geoscience ANALYST is a robust, fully integrated 3D platform, and we are proud to work with Mira Geoscience to expand its capabilities with new modelling features that simplify workflows, enhance data integration, and give geoscientists greater confidence in their models and decisions.
—Wan-Chiu Li, Co-Founder and President at Tessael
