Mira Geoscience is pleased to announce the acquisition of HiveMap, a geological and geotechnical field-mapping platform from SRK Consulting, a leading international mining consultancy firm

Vancouver, Canada | January 21, 2026

Developed by SRK to modernize geological and geotechnical field mapping, HiveMap enables practitioners to efficiently collect, visualize, and interpret geoscientific data. The platform integrates seamlessly with photogrammetry, LiDAR, and other spatial datasets, supporting consistent, high-quality interpretation across a wide range of project environments.

The acquisition marks an important step in HiveMap’s evolution. With HiveMap joining Mira Geoscience’s established portfolio of multidisciplinary geoscience technologies, the platform will benefit from expanded development resources, new integration opportunities, and broader global reach. SRK and Mira are collaborating closely as the transition process moves forward.

HiveMap has been an important innovation for our teams and our clients, and we are excited to see it continue its growth. Mira Geoscience’s long-standing commitment to advancing integrated geoscience solutions makes them the right partner to guide HiveMap’s next phase. We have greatly valued our software developer, Emre Onsel, who has joined the Mira Geoscience team to support the on-going growth of the software.
