Geoscience ANALYST 4.0 focuses on new imports, drillhole design and monitoring, and new inversion styles. The highlight in this version is that the drillhole object has been updated to be more flexible and efficient, allowing for larger drillhole data sets to be included in the workspaces. The Geoscience ANALYST free viewer has new and updated importers, including ODBC and acQuire GIM Suite drillhole database connections, ASCII draped model, and time-depth SEG-Y conversions on import. Geoscience ANALYST Pro is where the drillhole planning tools are located, including wedges and a drillhole monitoring panel to follow the progress of ongoing drillholes. Pro also includes the highly anticipated GDAL reference system transformations and image registration. Pro Geophysics users can now take advantage of VP Suite 1D electromagnetic modelling and inversion, a direct connection to SimPEG inversion codes, and the option of running inversions locally, on on-premise HPC resources, or in the cloud.
