You can save lots of time with SKUA-GOCAD’s macros, a built-in scripting tool in which you can record or enter a sequence of commands to carry out or repeat at any time. They are especially useful for:
- Automating repetitive tasks or processes
- Extending the capabilities of the software
- Saving time
To get started, check out the predefined macros that are already in your project or from Emerson Paradigm’s app exchange.
When you’re ready to create your own, record a series of commands and use the Macro Editor to specify the sequence, add loops, conditional statements, variables, comments, and more.
In this video, Shaun O’Connor shows an example of how he uses macros in his daily modelling work.
