The VP Suite includes 3D modelling and inversion programs for gravity, gravity gradient, total magnetic field, and magnetic gradient data and for time domain electromagnetics (TEM) data. These programs can be used stand-alone or within GOCAD® Mining Suite.

VP Suite Product catalogue
3D modelling and inversion program for gravity, gravity gradient, TMI and magnetic gradient data. It is designed for geologically-constrained inversion but is also suitable for unconstrained inversion. Constraints include pierce points on drilled contacts and downhole measurements of physical properties. It generates geological models by assigning each cell to a geological unit. Geometry of contacts, as well as density or susceptibility of geological units can be adjusted via inversion. In each geological unit, the density or susceptibility can be homogeneous or heterogeneous. VPmg offers multiple ways of handling remanent magnetization through direct inversion of remanent parameters and inversion of derivative data types.
VPmg 3D Gravity Forward Modelling and Inversion

VPmg 3D Gravity and Gravity Gradient Forward Modelling and Inversion
3D modelling and inversion of gravity (Gz) and gravity gradient data. The user can choose to invert either gravity data, or multiple or single gravity gradient tensor components.
VPmg 3D Magnetic Forward Modelling and Inversion
3D modelling and inversion of standard total magnetic intensity (TMI) data. Remanent magnetization inversion (RMI) is included to solve for remanent inclination and declination as well as Koenigsberger ratios. Modelling and inversion of magnetic amplitude data is additionally included to help recover effective susceptibility in magnetically complex areas.
VPmg 3D Magnetic and Magnetic Gradient Forward Modelling and Inversion
3D modelling and inversion of magnetic (TMI) and magnetic gradient data. The user can choose to invert either TMI data, or multiple or single magnetic gradient tensor components. Total magnetic gradient (TMG) data can also be inverted with this package to further help in areas containing remanent magnetization.
VPmg 3D Magnetic Forward Modelling and Inversion with Self-demagnetisation
It has the same features as 3D Magnetic Forward Modelling and Inversion but it also accounts for self-demagnetisation and interaction between highly magnetic 3D bodies, thereby permitting more accurate TMI modelling in high magnetite environments.
Performs 1D TEM inversion in a 3D geological framework to facilitate a variety of inversion styles. Optimal conductivities can be determined using homogeneous unit inversion when one or more geological units are considered uniform; heterogeneous unit inversion is applied when there are conductivity variations within units. Geometry inversion can be used to adjust interfacial depths (e.g. depth to basement). VPem1D is suitable for geologically-constrained or unconstrained inversion. It can invert moving loop airborne TEM data from both central loop and slingram configurations. Horizontal (along-line) and vertical B-field or dB/dt data can be inverted.
A new and free program to help you create and modify VP models. It is compatible with all VP Suite products. Adds constraints from drillhole pierce-points on contacts. Geological layers can be added simply with ASCII-based files. Creates heterogeneous cell models. Any VP model and its data can be written to a Geoscience ANALYST project file for visualizing and communicating in 3D.

Fullagar Geophysics VPem3D
VPem3D is a fast approximate 3D modelling and inversion program for airborne, ground, and downhole TEM data. VPem3D converts TEM decays to resistive limits in order to reduce run times by a factor of 10 or more relative to conventional programs. VPem3D can invert 3-component moving loop or fixed loop B-field or dB/dt data for virtually any configuration. VPem3D has been designed for geologically-constrained inversion but is also suitable for “unconstrained” inversion. Geometry of contacts, as well as conductivity of geological units can be adjusted via inversion. In each geological unit, the conductivity can be homogeneous or heterogeneous.
