Mira Geoscience offers experienced consulting services in several areas of focused expertise, in addition to general earth modelling services. We work with clients in a way that fits their needs and culture, from earth modelling software vendor to software training to model construction to senior project advisor. The best success is often achieved by seeking our advice early in the management of earth modelling projects.

We have developed expertise in a number of niches where our advice has particular value:

Earth modelling project management. Construction and exploitation of 3D multi-disciplinary earth models for any application benefits from an experienced focus on the business objective, mapping the business objective to model criteria and data requirements, and modelling of the data. We have learned from the experience of hundreds of complex earth modelling projects over the past 10 years what the best practices are, and the mistakes to avoid.
Exploration targeting. We have developed a process that facilitates a project team in their approach to defining exploration objectives, target criteria, and modelling actions. The objectives and conceptual targeting model are defined by the client, and we bring our experience to the process of translating the targeting model into data requirements and modelling actions. Because the objectives and conceptual model are provided by the client, the same targeting project process works across a spectrum of commodities and deposit types. We provide guidance from basic model construction to deployment of 3D expert-system targeting workflows.
Geophysical Interpretation. Our Advanced Geophysical Interpretation Centre provides industry-leading advice from a deeply experienced team across the range of geophysical methods. We provide services in deposit detectability analysis, survey design, forward modelling, and geologically-constrained inversion. We have a broad range of software tools and exceptional computing power at our disposal for geophysical data processing, forward modelling, and constrained inversion. Our principal consultants are acknowledged leaders in geophysical R&D and industry practice. We believe in the power of connecting geophysical data to rock property data and geological models, and utilize those connections in practice for the benefit of our clients.
Geohazard estimation and monitoring. In conjunction with our partner Golder Associates we provide the same leadership that we have developed in exploration targeting practice to geohazard estimation and monitoring, applied to underground mining, open pit mining, or civil projects.
