Mira Geoscience stands for technology and practice enabling the best geoscience-based business decisions. Since 1999 we have pioneered the application of advanced geological modelling and 3D-GIS technology in the mining industry through the integrated “Common Earth Model”. Our work is focused on applications of the GOCAD® Mining Suite Base Module, a mining-customized extension to the Paradigm™ GOCAD® earth modelling engine, available exclusively through Mira Geoscience.

We work with both major and junior mining companies, providing software and services for the completion of 3D data compilation, modelling, and interpretation projects for mine-scale and regional-scale projects.

We offer GOCAD software sales, support, and training, GOCAD modular plug-ins for mining applications, interpretational consulting services across a range of geosciences, and custom software development.

Our clients deploy our technology in regional modelling, exploration, resource modelling, geotechnical, and environmental applications. Our capability for integrating geological, geochemical and geophysical data streams into an optimum model for exploration targeting decision support is unique and proven. Our technologies and workflows have resulted in credited ore discovery.

In 2007 we launched the Advanced Geophysical Interpretation Centre (AGIC) to bring together a group of industry-leading geophysicists with the most advanced earth modelling and geophysical modelling and inversion technology available, whatever its source. AGIC is a high-level geophysical consultancy that fills an important niche in helping clients get the most out of geophysical programs and data interpretation.

In 2008 we entered into a business partnership with Golder Associates to bring our 3D-GIS and earth modelling technology to bear on the important problem of estimating and monitoring geotechnical hazard in mining and civil applications. We have worked with clients in underground and open-pit base metal, precious metal, and coal operations to facilitate the identification and remedy of geotechnical hazard with our GOCAD-based Geohazmap Workflow application.

Our client list includes most of the world’s major mining and mining-industry service companies. We count many geological survey organizations and universities amongst our clients, providing a natural collaboration environment for technology development.
