Senior Geophysicist - Vancouver

We are seeking a Senior Geophysicist to provide technical and business leadership for our Vancouver office. Responsibilities include initiating and leading consulting projects utilizing a wide range of geophysical methods to provide solutions for our clients in orebody detectability analysis, survey design, 3D constrained inversion, integrated interpretation, and drillhole targeting. The Senior Geophysicist is expected to interact with the local and international mineral exploration client community at a high technical level for project generation, project execution, and communication of results. As a Project Leader, some supervision duties are required.

This position requires previous industry experience, including with at least one major mining company, as well as academic experience to at least the M.Sc. level. Working knowledge of the theory and practice of geophysical forward modelling and constrained inversion is a requirement, including a successful track record in applying these methods to field data. Direct, hands-on experience with gravity, magnetic, electrical, and electromagnetic data is strongly desirable.
