Software Developers - Montreal

We are looking for Developers who are passionate about their work, motivated by technology challenges, creative and results oriented, and who enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.

At Mira Geoscience our objective is to develop highly efficient and robust solutions for the mining industry. To meet these objectives our Developers will:

• Design and develop new software meeting given requirements
• Produce technical specifications and architectural documentation
• Undertake unit testing of developed code
• Review and debug code
• Maintain existing software by making modifications as required
• Use benchmarking tools to evaluate and optimize code
• Identify and communicate technical problems and find creative solutions
• Build positive working relationships with application users and product managers

The successful candidates will have the following:

• Bachelor of Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent qualification
• 2 to 5 years of experience in Object Oriented software development
• Excellent capacity to program in C++
• Hands-on experience using SQL
• Knowledge of coding standards
• Experience with Gocad, QT and GUI design would be great assets
