Senior Resource Geologist - Montreal

This is great opportunity for a Senior Resource Geologist to work with leading-edge technology and to make an important impact on our business.

As Senior Resource Geologist you will lead the design of our Gocad-based mining resource modelling tool suite, guide our software team in its development, participate in occasional project-based consulting, and promote our solutions to industry. The successful candidate will provide technical support to our sales team, as well as internal and external training in resource modelling and geostatistics.

This position requires an M.Sc in Geostatistics or equivalent degree, as well as accredited membership in a related professional association. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of relevant industry experience in mineral resource assessment projects including a high level of practical experience with both theory and practise of sampling and laboratory analysis methods, data QC/QA, geological modelling, and geostatistical estimation/simulation of mineral resources. A successful track record in applying these methods to field data is an important requirement to fulfill the responsibilities that come with this position.
