Geotechnical Engineer - Montreal

This is an exciting opportunity to join Mira Geoscience in a newly created role. We are actively seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to lead our geotechnical business, focusing on quantitative rock mass characterization and geohazard estimation for mining and civil applications.

In this position, you will direct the design of our Gocad-based geotechnical tool suite, guide our software team in its development, consult with clients on geotechnical projects, and promote our solutions to industry.

This position requires an M.Sc in Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent, as well as accredited membership in a related professional association. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of relevant industry experience in applied rock mechanics, and will have a working knowledge of underground and open pit geotechnical mine design principles.
